Guest Notes
A plain account of what White Regency is, who publishes it, what appears in each entry, and why readers are sent to official listing pages for details.
An independent platform focused on hospitality discovery — what this site is and, plainly, what it is not
White Regency is an independent editorial website. It describes hospitality properties in Canada — their setting, category, star class and surroundings — so that a reader can form a first impression before leaving for an official listing. The tone is formal and measured: the copy states what a property is and stops there.
The site is not a booking engine. It has no calendar, no enquiry basket for rooms, and no claim to know whether a date is open. It is not a ranking table, a promotions board or a loyalty programme. It does not sell stays, take deposits or issue confirmations.
Discovery here means organised reading. Catalogues group properties by character. Editorial pages explain the guide’s stance on age-restricted floors and on independence. Contact exists for corrections and questions about published text — not for arranging a room.
If a page elsewhere promises open dates or confirmations under a similar-looking name, it is not this site. The domain whiteregency.website and the brand White Regency identify this guide alone.
Who We Are — an independent guide with no ownership of, or agreement with, any property named on it
White Regency is published as an informational project. It does not own, operate or manage any hotel, resort or casino named in its pages. It holds no franchise agreement, marketing contract or sponsorship with those properties.
Names, marks and photographs appear for identification and description. Their use does not imply endorsement by the property or by its parent brand. The independence notice on every page states this relationship in one sentence and is not open to negotiation in the copy.
Staff who write for the guide are not front-desk agents for the venues listed. They cannot confirm a reservation, amend a booking or speak for house policy. Readers who need those services must go to the property or to the platform named on the listing page.
Independence also means editorial freedom to leave facts out when they were not supplied. Room counts, restaurant names and renovation years are omitted on purpose when the source data does not include them. Silence is preferable to invention.
What We Present — descriptive overviews of accommodation, amenities and surroundings, in a consistent structure
Each venue card follows the same pattern: one photograph, the property name exactly as supplied, the city and province, a short description shaped by category and setting, and a single outbound button to the official listing. That consistency is deliberate. It lets readers compare entries without learning a new layout on every page.
Descriptions stay within the facts provided for this build: location, category, star class and setting tags such as waterfront, mountain, countryside, historic or airport. Amenities are mentioned only when those tags imply them at a general level — for example, a resort may be expected to include dining and shared facilities — without naming specific outlets.
Catalogues divide the thirteen properties into Hidden Gems, Signature Stays and Buildings With a Past. A property appears on one catalogue only. The homepage introduces the guide and routes readers inward; it carries no venue cards and no outbound listing links.
Editorial pages add context without adding inventory. Responsible Visiting explains age-restricted floors. Guest Notes — this page — explains the platform. Neither page sells a stay.
Our Approach — clarity, structure and transparency, and why the site sends readers to official listing pages for details
Clarity means short sentences, concrete nouns and no urgency language. Structure means the same card anatomy and the same footer on every page. Transparency means stating, repeatedly, that reservations and availability live elsewhere.
Official listing pages change when operators update photographs, policies or contact routes. An independent guide cannot mirror that pace without becoming a second, weaker copy of the listing. Sending the reader onward is therefore part of the design, not a missing feature.
The listing button uses the exact URL supplied for each venue, opens in a new browsing context, and carries rel attributes that mark the link as external and unendorsed. Aside from those listing links, the only address that leaves this site is the contact email [email protected].
Questions about wording, corrections to a published fact, or the legal pages can be sent through Enquiries. The response you receive will concern the guide — never a booking on behalf of a property.
